The North American Society for Interventional Thyroidology (NASIT) was created to promote safe integration of ablative thyroid technologies into clinical practice and a collaborative environment that supports education and research efforts in interventional thyroidology.
NASIT is a multidisciplinary group that includes clinicians from many professional backgrounds seeking to explore minimally invasive non-surgical techniques such as RFA, laser ablation, high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), and others to advance and improve the treatment of thyroid diseases. NASIT has and will continue to provide web-based learning modules and webinars, case conferences, joint research collaborations, and in March 2023 will host its first national meeting.
Clinicians and researchers with an interest in minimally invasive techniques are invited to join NASIT to share their experiences, teach others, participate in learning opportunities, and collaborate with other likeminded individuals. All physicians, scientists, and students of good professional standing, who have a major interest in, and wish to devote significant portions of their practice or research to interventional treatments of thyroid diseases are welcome and invited to apply for membership.
Enhance the quality and breadth of education materials, and champion the advancement of research and science in interventional techniques and their role in the treatment of endocrine diseases
